TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona women's basketball team earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight year on Sunday and will enter as the No. 7 seed in the Greenville 1 Region. The bid is the 10th in program history for the Cats.
Arizona will make the trip to College Park, Md., for the first two rounds. The Wildcats will open tournament play Friday, Mar. 17 against 10th-seeded West Virginia. The winner of the game Friday will face the winner of two-seed Maryland and 15-seed Holy Cross.
