TUCSON, Ariz. — Noelani Cornfield, Mickayla Perdue and Sumayah Sugapong will represent Arizona women's basketball at the 2025 Big 12 Basketball Media Days presented by New Era, set for Oct. 21 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.
This year's event will feature several notable enhancements, according to the league office:

New Era Sponsorship: In addition to serving as the presenting sponsor, New Era will provide official co-branded media gifts for all attendees.

Sports Illustrated Swim Beauty Bar: A new addition to women's day, offering student-athletes and coaches professional hair and makeup touch-ups throughout the event.

Full Media Partner Presence: All five of the league's television partners — ESPN, FOX, CBS, TNT and NBC — will be on site to capture the distinctive look and energy of Big 12 basketball.

Expanded Digital & Influencer Coverage: Bleacher Report, Lethal Shooter, PassThaBall and Olivia Petnicki will provide behind-the-scenes content from Kansas City, including a new shooting skills challenge featuring Big 12 student-athletes.

Big 12 Arrival Walk: A black-carpet entrance highlighting players' and coaches' personal style and brand as they arrive at T-Mobile Center.

Kid Commissioner Debut: In partnership with Children's Mercy, the league will introduce its first-ever Kid Commissioner, who will help welcome Commissioner Brett Yormark during his address.
Coverage from the main set will air on ESPNU and ESPN+ from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. MST each day. Hosts for women's day include Matt Schick, Brooke Weisbrod, Anne O'Neil and Rachel Galligan. Schick will also lead men's day coverage alongside Fran Fraschilla, Sean Farnham and Chancellor Johnson. TuneIn Radio will record interviews with coaches and student-athletes that will air ahead of the season, featuring Ari Temkin, James Westling and Austyn Iven on women's day.
Cornfield, Perdue and Sugapong are all newcomers to both Arizona and the Big 12 Conference, bringing decorated résumés and veteran experience into their first season in Tucson.
Cornfield, a transfer from Buffalo, helped the Bulls to a program-record 30 wins and a WNIT Championship last season. She earned WNIT All-Tournament Team and MAC All-Defensive Team honors, averaging nearly 11 points and six assists per game. She ranked No. 1 in the MAC and top 20 nationally in steals per game (2.6), while also placing seventh nationally in assists (5.9).
Perdue joins the Wildcats after a standout season at Cleveland State, where she averaged 20 points and three assists per game and was named Horizon League Player of the Year. Recognized by On3 as the top Big 12 transfer, she enters the season as one of the league's most dynamic scoring guards.
Sugapong comes to Tucson after leading UC San Diego to a Big West Championship and the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance last season. The San Diego native averaged 15 points and 3.7 assists per game, earning Big West Championship Most Outstanding Player honors. She led the conference in assists (132), assists per game (3.7), field goals (195), field goal attempts (558), points (534), steals and steals per game (2.47).
With a nearly new roster under first-year head coach Becky Burke, Arizona was picked 14th in the Big 12 Preseason Coaches Poll.
