TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Baseball has added a road game against UC Irvine on Monday, May 15 to their 2023 schedule. First pitch from Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark is set for 6:00 p.m. MST.
The Wildcats game against the Anteaters will fill the hole left in the schedule by the cancelation of last week's game at Cal State Fullerton and brings Arizona back to 53 regular season games.
Arizona and UC Irvine have played 24 times in program history, with the Wildcats holding a 15-7-2 all-time series lead. They last faced each other in 2006, a two-game series in Tucson that was split. They have not faced the Anteaters in Irvine since a three-game series in 2003 that the Wildcats swept.
