PHOENIX — The Arizona Wildcats (13-8, 3-5) dropped the second of a three-game series to the Arizona State Sun Devils (15-8, 4-1) on a final score of 7-4 on Saturday night at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
Arizona center fielder
Mac Bingham contributed at the plate and in the field for the Wildcats, collecting two hits and two RBI with his bat while twice holding runs off the board with his glove.
Wildcats starting pitcher
Bradon Zastrow did not factor into the decision following his three innings of one-run work. The southpaw struck out four and allowed four hits on 57 pitches.
Left-hander
Eric Orloff relieved Zastrow in the fourth inning with the bases loaded and no outs and proceeded to strike out two batters before a diving catch from Bingham ended the frame without any runs coming across.
