TUCSON, Ariz. – The Wildcats took to the field on a sunbaked 75-degree Saturday in front of a full crowd on the Tomey Practice Field.
 
Jonah Coleman broke through multiple tackles for a 55-plus-yard touchdown run to highlight the day. Wide out Kevin Green Jr. got open in the back of the end zone and Jayden de Laura put a perfect pass on his hands for a touchdown. Wide receiver Jaden Clark posted a strong practice after pulling in multiple receptions.
 
Defensive back Ephesians Prysock outworked his matchup to record a pass breakup that was almost an interception. Daniel Heimuli, Justin Flowe, and Jacob Manu mixed, and matched linebacker looks as the Wildcats continue to mix personnel on defense.
 
The Wildcats worked on making their play calls and execution crisp during red zone drills.
 
Coach Duane Akina and safeties Isaiah Taylor and Dalton Johnson spoke with the media following practice.
