TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Track and Field wrapped up day two of the Willie Williams Classic at Drachman Stadium on Saturday. The Wildcats were led by
Talie Bonds, who won both the 100m hurdles, where she matched the school record, and the high jump.
"I'm super proud of this team and what they put together for their home opening meet," said Head Coach
Fred Harvey. "The highlight has to be
Talie Bonds in the 100m hurdles, tying the school record and becoming the first person in the country to run under 13 seconds in the event. Also, watching our relay teams put it together the way that they did was really spectacular. Watching our throws group continue to grow with what they're doing with their team around them and supporting them was special as well."
