TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona Athletics Department will welcome local businesses of Southern Arizona and regional businesses throughout the western United States to a Name, Image and Likeness open house. The event will connect businesses directly with student-athletes from Arizona's athletic programs for NIL opportunities at 6 p.m. (MST) on Tuesday, April 18 in the Hall of Champions inside McKale Center.

"The engaged and supportive businesses of Southern Arizona have helped power our athletics department's success for decades," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Dave Heeke. "This new and exciting event will provide our loyal Wildcat supporters with a new way to enhance our student-athletes' experience and help them live the Wildcat Way as academic, athletic and life champions. Our open house will center around NIL legislation, educational information and networking to create a learning experience on the unique value student-athletes' name, image and likeness can provide to local businesses."
 

The event's programming will also include a "How To" on getting involved with NIL opportunities, a panel discussion with current student-athletes on their unique value and highlights of their NIL engagements to date, and a conversation with local businesses already engaged in NIL activities to share their success stories and best practices. There will be student-athletes in attendance from all of Arizona's programs.
