TUCSON, Ariz. – Olivia DiNardo was named the Pac-12 Player and Freshman of the Week following a breakout week against CSU Bakersfield and at the Hillenbrand Invitational, the conference announced on Monday.

DiNardo dominated at the plate, leading the team with a .857 batting average, 12 hits, five doubles, and five walks. She recorded a 1.214 slugging percentage and a 2.109 OPS during the week.

The San Mateo, Calif. native went 13-for-her-last-15 at the plate, highlighted by going 7-for-7 in a pair of run-rule victories over Texas A&M-Commerce. DiNardo recorded career bests of four hits and two doubles in Arizona's first win over TAMUC and tallied a career high three RBI in the Wildcats' second win over TAMUC.

DiNardo leads the Pac-12 and ranks 11th in the NCAA in batting average (.510) this season. She also ranks second among conference freshmen in doubles (6) and hits (26).
The pair of awards marks DiNardo's first and second career weekly Pac-12 honors.Â
