TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (30-23, 12-18) fell in their regular season finale on Saturday night, 14-6, to the USC Trojans (33-22-1, 17-13).Â
The Wildcats, celebrating senior night, collected six runs on 12 hits and a pair of walks. Senior center fielder
Mac Bingham, along with left fielder
Chase Davis and first baseman
Kiko Romero, all homered. Fellow seniors
Tyler Casagrande and
Tony Bullard both collected a pair of hits, with Casagrande's each going for two bases.
Starting pitcher
TJ Nichols worked three innings for the Wildcats and took the loss. He struck out three batters in the first inning to give him 200 strikeouts for his career.
Next up for Arizona is a trip north to Scottsdale for the 2023 Pac-12 Baseball Tournament. Game one on Tuesday against Arizona State is slated for 10:00 a.m. MST first pitch on the Pac-12 Networks.

- Romero drove in a pair of runs to bring his season total to 80, which is tied for sixth most in a single season in program history
- Bingham's fifth inning home run pushed him to 10 on the year, giving Arizona their first season with five players tallying double digit home run totals since the 1993 team had five
