Wildcats, Wolf Pack Meet Wednesday

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (25-20) and Nevada Wolf Pack (18-27) renew their series with a midweek matchup this Wednesday at Hi Corbett Field.

Wednesday's matchup is the final contest of a four-game homestand for the Wildcats, who took 2-of-3 games from the Air Force Falcons over the weekend. Arizona has posted a record of 20-7 at home this year.

The Wildcats offense led the way over the weekend, hammering out 27 runs on 42 hits across three games against Air Force. Arizona has combined to hit .351 with 149 extra-base hits in their 27 home games this season.

  • Dating back to last season, Davis has reached base safely in 58 straight games. His on-base streak is one game shy of tying what is believed to be the Arizona program record.
  • Arizona's .978 fielding percentage currently ranks third in the Pac-12 behind only Oregon State (.979) and Washington (.979). Their 38 errors are third-fewest in the conference. The Wildcats finished 2022 ninth in the Pac-12 in fielding percentage.
