TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Gymnastics junior Alysen Fears earned the honor of Pac-12 Coaches Choice, voted on by the conference coaches, following strong performances on all events in Arizona's first two meets of the season.
 
Fears went 8-for-8 in Arizona's pair of wins at the ESPN Collegiate Classic and against Sacramento State. She also won the all-around in both meets with scores of 39.250 at the ESPN Collegiate Classic and a career-high-tying 39.350 against Sac State.
 
In Arizona's win over Sac State, Fears was the individual beam champion on beam with a 9.875 and on floor with a 9.90, both of which were career-high-tying scores.
 
Arizona is at home for the second-straight week against Stanford on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. MST. The meet will be streamed on the Arizona Live Stream.
