Tucson, Ariz -Â Arizona women's basketball head coach
Adia Barnes has signed 5-foot-11 Roxy White from Frankfort, Illinois, for the 2025-26 season.
White, a versatile small forward, has been a standout at Example Academy, competing on the school's national team against elite prep programs like IMG Academy, SPIRE Academy, AZ Compass Prep, Mt. Zion Prep, and Montverde Academy.
The Eagles wrapped up their season with a 20-8 record, having previously claimed back-to-back Insider Exposure Independent School national titles in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, White led her underdog team to victory in the Grind Session World Championship against defending champion Bella Vista Prep, handing BVP only their second loss of the season.
White has earned numerous accolades, including team MVP, Grind Session Under the Radar Player of the Year, and three-time Grind Session Game MVP. She was also named MVP twice at the Insider Exposure Tournament in Jacksonville, FL, and at the She Got Game Classic in Atlanta, GA.
"We're are so excited  to welcome Roxy to our program!" Barnes said.
"She's a fierce competitor who brings strength, toughness, and incredible versatility to the court. Roxy's ability to excel at multiple positions reminds me of me as a player—she's got that 'dawg' mentality and plays with a chip on her shoulder. I can't wait to see the impact she'll make here!"
