TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball head coach
Charita Stubbs has signed five recruits on signing day, announced by the program on Thursday. This year's talented class include Maya Flemister, Chloe Giehtbrock, Brookelyn Hatton, Renee Jones, and Paige Thies.

Charita Stubbs said. "Most of this class will begin early and start learning about the program and getting to know our current players. We can't wait to bring this group to Tucson!"
Maya Flemister
6-3 | MB | Centennial, Colo. | Arapahoe H.S.
- Prepped with Elevation Volleyball Club from 2022-24
- 2023 first-team All-Centennial League performer at Arapahoe High School
- Served as team captain for her club and high school teams
Maya says: "I chose to attend the University of Arizona because I really connected with Coach Rita and the assistant coaches, and the team felt like a family. I loved the school environment and how it supports its sports programs, it is a short trip from Denver, and I love the weather!"
Chloe Giehtbrock
6-1 | S | Clarkston, Mich. | Marian H.S.
- Prep Dig's fourth-ranked setter in Michigan
- Ranked as the 19th overall player from Michigan by Prep Dig
- Played varsity volleyball at Marian High School all four years
- Helped her team to a top three AAU nationals finish and earn three open qualifying bids
- Prepped with Legacy for five years, Michigan Elite for one year, and L2 Volleyball for two years
Chloe says: "I chose the University of Arizona because I loved the competitive family environment I feel in the gym."
Brookelyn Hatton

- Named the top libero in Kansas by Prep Dig and was named to the Prep Dig Kansas Top 10 List
- Earned a spot on the Prep Volleyball Top 150 list

Brookelyn says: "I chose the U of A because I loved the campus and it felt like home away from home. I felt like I connected well with the coaches and I loved the way they make the players feel like they are part of a family. I just really fell in love with everything about the volleyball program, campus and the city of Tucson."
Renee Jones

Renee says: "I chose Arizona because of the amazing coaching staff on the volleyball program and how the coaches are truly set on growing the program. When I visited Arizona for the first time everything just felt right. The coaches were people I knew I wanted to learn from and be able to grow as a person and a player. The Arizona campus and environment was just the perfect fit for me from the amazing campus life and amenities as well as the high academic standards of the school to the gorgeous mountains with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Choosing Arizona was not difficult at all, the second I got to campus I knew it was going to be my next home."
Paige Thies

Paige says: "I chose Arizona because the team, Coach Rita and the campus environment felt like home. Tucson has a real college town feel to it. I love the sun and the heat in Arizona."
