LOS ANGELES – The Naismith Awards released the 2024 Jersey Mikes' Naismith Trophy Men's Player of the Year Midseason Team on Thursday and Arizona guard Caleb Lovew as one of 30 student-athletes included on the list. 
 
Love is also one of 10 candidates for the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award and on the Wooden Award Midseason Watch List.

Love has helped lead the Wildcats to a 19-5 overall record and a 10-3 record in Pac-12 play, which is good for first place in the conference. He is averaging a carer-high 18.9 points per game this season, which ranks fourth in the Pac-12 and he is making an average of 2.5 3-point field goals per game, which is also fourth in the conference. The St. Louis native had a career-high 36 points at Oregon and is averaging career highs in points, rebounds (5.1), field goal percentage (43.1%) and 2-point field goal percentage (51.1%).
