TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona has been selected to play in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth-straight season, as announced by the NCAA selection committee on Sunday. The Cats will play in a First Four game as an 11 seed in Storrs, Conn., in the Portland 3 Region, and the bid is the 11th in program history for the Wildcats.

The Cats and Tigers will face off Thursday, March 21 at 4 p.m. (MST), which is 7 p.m. local time in Storrs on ESPN2.

With a win in their first game, the Cats will face six-seed Syracuse Saturday, March 23.

Arizona concluded the year with a 17-15 (8-10 Pac-12) record and the second-best NET Strength of Schedule. Arizona went on a late-season four-game win streak in Pac-12 play that included its first sweep of the Bay Area schools since 2001. The Cats defeated a pair of ranked opponents in No. 15 Utah and No. 3 Stanford, and its win over the Cardinal was its highest-ranked road win in program history.
