Cats Fall to Louisville on Wednesday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Arizona lost 5-3 to Louisville on Wednesday night. The Wildcats tallied six hits but could only score three runs in the game.
Louisville scored three in the second inning for a 3-0 lead over Arizona. In the third, the Cardinals hit a solo home run for a four-run lead.
Arizona scored one run in the fourth inning on Carlie Scupin's fourth double of the season to score Dakota Kennedy from first base.
Louisville hit another solo home run in the fifth inning for a four-run lead.
Allie Skaggs hit a two-run home run – her fourth homer of the season – in the top of the sixth.
In the circle, Miranda Stoddard got the loss after giving up Louisville's first four runs. Aissa Silva entered in relief in the third and gave up one run on two hits.
