TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Baseball, in coordination with Major League Baseball's Houston Astros, today announced the Wildcats participation in the 2025 Astros Foundation College Classic taking place at Minute Maid Park in Houston Feb. 28 – March 2.
The Wildcats will face off against the Texas A&M Aggies, Tennessee Volunteers, and Mississippi State Bulldogs across three days in Houston. All three of Arizona's opponents were selected to the 2024 NCAA Tournament, with eventual national champion Tennessee and Texas A&M advancing all the way to the College World Series finals. All four teams, including Arizona, were ranked in the final D1Baseball Top 25 poll of the 2024 season.

2025 Shriners Children's College Showdown on opening weekend in Arlington, Texas.
Minute Maid Park is home to the two-time World Series Champion Houston Astros and began hosting MLB games in 2000. Just like Arizona Baseball's home ballpark, Hi Corbett Field, Minute Maid Park is nicknamed "The Juice Box."
