Volleyball Inks Three On Signing Day

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball head coach Charita Stubbs has signed three recruits on signing day, announced by the program on Wednesday.
 
"We are excited to be signing this class with players who are proven winners," head coach Charita Stubbs said. "This group is energetic, dynamic, and will add depth to our roster immediately. We can't wait to have this group in Tucson!"
 
Hayden Reeder
6-1 | OH | Ramsey, Minn. | Anoka H.S.

  • Ranked the No. 2 player in Minnesota and the No. 84 player in the class of 2026 nationally by Prep Dig
  • 2024 AAU All-American
  • Two-time All-Minnesota Class AAAA at Anoka High School
  • Three-time first team All-Northwest Suburban Conference at Anoka H.S.
  • Named to the Class AAAA MN State Tournament All-Tournament Team in 2023
  • Runner up at the 2025 17 National and the 2024 AAU 16 Open
 
Hayden says: "I met Rita and Ryan at a camp and loved the way they interacted and coached us. When I came on campus, I loved how different it felt from Minnesota with cacti and palm trees and I fell in love with all of the views, sunsets, and nature."
 
Coach Stubbs says: "Hayden is a true six-rotation player and will bring high energy and depth to our team. She has played club with elite athletes that have made her a great competitor and dynamic athlete."  
 
Marina Vosloo
6-1 | MB | San Diego, Calif. | Torrey Pines H.S.
  • Played club with Rancho Valley and WAVE
  • Helped Torrey Pines High School rank third in California and fifth in the nation during the 2025 season
  • Led her team to wins at the Westview Tournament and Volleypalooza in Austin, Texas
  • Helped her 17's club team place fifth in the open division at Nationals
 
Marina says: "I chose Arizona because I felt an immediate sense of connection with the coaches. I knew that I wanted to learn and develop under Coach Rita and loved her passion for the game and commitment to the program. Arizona's campus is stunning and the team has pride when representing their colors which is exactly a place I would want to call home."
 
Coach Stubbs says: "Marina is a very athletic and physical middle blocker who will keep us competitive at that position. She comes from a winning club and high school and will use that experience to our program better."
 
Gigi Whann
5-8 | L/DS | Dallas, Texas | Highland Park H.S.
  • Played club with TAV, Dallas Skyline, Frisco Flyers, and Madfrog
  • 2025 first-team PrepVolleyball Club 17U All-American
  • Two-time Libero of the Year and two-time first-team All-District player at Highland Park High School
  • 2024 TCGA Texas 5A All-State player
  • Ranked #36 by PrepVolleyball in the Top 150 Class of 2026 Club Player Rankings in 2025
  • Medaled nine times in the open division for Club Volleyball at USAV, GJNC, and AAU Nationals
  • Won the gold medal of GJNC in 2021 and 2023
 
Gigi says: "I chose the U of A because I loved the coaches and the fan support for the volleyball program."
 
Coach Stubbs says: "Gigi is a true libero who understands the game at a high level and will be ready to compete for a spot right away. She comes from Dallas where every volleyball match is competitive in club and high school and she will add depth to our team immediately."
