TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Women's Tennis is set for a competitive weekend at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center, hosting matches against No. 23 Texas Tech No. 24 UCSB.

The Wildcats will kick off the weekend on Friday at 12 p.m. MST for a matchup against No. 24 UC Santa Barbara. The last match-up between the Cats and Gauchos was last spring season, where the Cats came out on top 4-2.  

The Cats will then return Sunday, February 16th at 11:00 a.m. to battle No. 23 Texas Tech. Arizona faced the Red Raiders last spring season, but fell just short in a 3-4 battle. Arizona is in the midst of an eight-match homestand, looking to capitalize on home-court advantage as they take on their opponents this weekend. 

The Wildcats currently hold ranked players in both singles and doubles, with No. 34 Josie Usereau and No. 121 Midori Castillo-Meza earning spots in the singles rankings. In doubles, Martyna Ostrzygalo and Midori Castillo-Meza come in at No. 28 as a top-ranked pair.
