TUCSON, Ariz.- Arizona Women's Tennis is set for another weekend at Home, hosting teams Colorado State and Buffalo.
Coming off a tough 0-4 loss against Texas Tech last Sunday, the Cats are looking to turn things around this weekend. The Wildcats will first face the Colorado State Rams on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. MST. The last match-up between the Cats and Rams was in 2022 where Arizona finished with a 4-3 win. The Cats will then go on to play Buffalo at 2:00 p.m. MST. This is Buffalo and Arizona's first match-up.
Neither Colorado State nor Buffalo holds rankings currently, while Arizona has two singles players and one doubles pair in the polls. In singles,
Josie Usereau holds the No. 34 spot, and
Midori Castillo-Meza holds the No. 121 spot.
Martyna Ostrzygalo and
Midori Castillo-Meza currently come in at No. 28 as a top-ranked pair in doubles.
