TUCSON, Ariz. – After a strong 4-2 victory over No. 49 Kansas last Sunday, No. 31 Arizona Women's Tennis returns home this weekend for a busy slate of matchups.
Arizona will kick off the weekend with a home contest against Cincinnati on Friday at noon. The last time these two teams met was in 2017, with the Wildcats securing a dominant 6-1 victory. Arizona will aim to replicate that success, using their ranked players—No. 37
Josie Usereau and No. 116
Martyna Ostrzygalo—as key assets.
Arizona will face a busy day on Sunday with two matches on the slate. The Wildcats will first take on West Virginia at 11 a.m. MST followed by a 3 p.m. match with Grand Canyon. The Mountaineers enter the match with a 6-9 record and have dropped five consecutive contests, while Grand Canyon is 8-5 this season and has won three straight over New Mexico, UC Riverside and Montana State.
This weekend's events will be streamed on PlaySight and live stats will be available on StatBroadcast.
