TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 38 Arizona Women's Tennis is set for a heated rivalry matchup, hosting No. 35 Arizona State on Saturday, March 29, at 12:00 p.m. MST at LaNelle. 

Coming off a doubleheader in Stillwater, the Wildcats picked up a 4-1 win over No. 48 Tulsa but fell 2-4 to No. 34 at Oklahoma State last Sunday. Now 5-3 in conference play, the Wildcats look to defend their home court in this rivalry Big 12 matchup. The last meeting between the Wildcats and Sun Devils was in April 2024, where Arizona narrowly fell 3-4 in Tempe. This time, the Cats will have the home advantage as they aim for a different result.

Both teams feature ranked talent in singles and doubles. Arizona's Josie Usereau (No. 47) is in the national rankings, while ASU has No. 33 Emilija Tverijonaite and No. 49 Sara Svetac. In doubles, Arizona's No. 52 duo of Midori Castillo and Martyna Ostrzygalo will take the court, facing competition from ASU's No. 36 pair, Patricija Spaka and Lily Taylor.
