AMES, Iowa- After securing two big home wins against Utah and No. 51 BYU last weekend, No. 31 Arizona Women's Tennis is set to hit the road for a pair of matchups against No. 59 Iowa State and No. 49 Kansas.
The Wildcats will first take on the Cyclones in Ames, Iowa, on Friday at 3:00 p.m. MST. This will mark the first-ever meeting between Arizona and Iowa State. Arizona will then travel to Lawrence, Kan., for a Sunday morning showdown against the Jayhawks at 10:00 a.m. MST. The Wildcats will be looking for redemption after falling 0-4 to Kansas in their last matchup in February 2023. Kansas enters the weekend ranked No. 49 and will provide a strong test for Arizona as the Wildcats continue their push for a higher national ranking.
Individually, Arizona boasts three ranked players, with Josie Usereau holding the No. 37 spot in singles, followed by Martyna Ostrzygalo at No. 116. In doubles, Midori Castillo-Meza and Ostrzygalo come in as the nation's No. 39-ranked duo.
