TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Softball's
Devyn Netz has received a golden ticket from the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) as one of 12 collegiate players to participate in the 2025 draft.
AUSL advisor Natasha Watley was in attendance to present Netz with the golden ticket to the league's inaugural draft. Netz is one of 12 collegiate players that will receive a golden ticket to the draft.
Over the course of Netz's career, she has etched her name into the Arizona record book. This season, she became the first Wildcat to throw a perfect game and hit a home run in the same game. Netz earned NFCA All-West Region honors in 2023 and helped Arizona reach its third straight Women's College World Series in 2022.
This season, Netz has been one of the best two-way players in the nation. She currently leads Arizona with 18 wins and 16 home runs, both ranking second in the Big 12. Netz is ranked in the top 50 nationally in home runs, home runs per game (.34), RBI (57), RBI per game (1.24), strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.94), victories, and walks allowed per seven innings (1.11).
Netz holds a career ERA of 3.28 and will close out her career with over 50 victories and 320 strikeouts in over 445 innings pitched. She has pitched 27 total complete games and has been part of 20 total shutouts. At the plate, Netz has maintained a .321 batting average, hit 29 home runs, 11 doubles, and driven in 98 runs during her time as a Wildcat.
Netz garnered All-Pac-12 second team accolades along with NFCA All-West Region second team honors in 2023. Additionally, she earned Pac-12 Player of the Week and Big 12 Pitcher of the Week honors during her career.
AUSL's College Draft Show is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 and will be televised on ESPNU at 6 p.m. MST. Netz and the 11 other golden ticket draftees will be assigned to the AUSL teams during the draft show to complete the rosters.
