Center fielder Aaron Walton hit a home run in his second consecutive game and Tucson native Gunner Geile swatted an RBi double, but it was not enough as Arizona dropped their first Big 12 Conference series in a month.
Starting pitcher Smith Bailey worked four innings and struck out six batters but ultimately took the loss to move to 1-2 on the year.
Right-hander Julian Tonghini notched a scoreless outing from the bullpen. He worked 1.2 frames and allowed just one hit while striking out a pair.
