TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Women's Basketball head coach Becky Burke announced the signing of Daniah Trammell, a 6-foot-1 forward from Cincinnati, Ohio, on Monday.

Trammell starred at Winton Woods High School, where she led the Warriors in both scoring and rebounding as a junior, helping guide the team to a 19-6 overall record and a 14-2 mark in league play — the best in the conference. A two-time All-State and All-Conference honoree, she was also named to the District 16 First Team and finished her high school career with over 1,000 points and more than 900 rebounds.

Off the court, Trammell was recognized nationally for her character and perseverance, earning selection as one of 10 finalists for the Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Basketball Courage Award, presented annually by the Atlanta Tipoff Club — the same organization that awards the Naismith Player of the Year honors.
