PHOENIX, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (22-9, 8-4) dropped their series finale against the Arizona State Sun Devils (21-11, 8-4) on Sunday night at Phoenix Municipal Stadium on an 8-4 final score.
Despite the loss, the Wildcats two wins over the weekend secured a series victory and clinched a Territorial Cup point for Arizona.

Smith Bailey did not factor into the decision after working 5.0 innings and allowing just two runs while striking out three.
Left fielder
Andrew Cain hit his second home run in as many games, a three-run shot that gave the Wildcats a 4-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning.Â
