PHOENIX – The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and Position Sports announced on Thursday that Arizona men's basketball will play San Diego State on Dec. 20 at PHX Arena as part of the Hall of Fame Series Phoenix event.
Start times, television designation and ticket information will be announced at a later date. The other game of the Hall of Fame Series Phoenix will feature Colorado and Stanford. Fans can sign up for presale information now at

"We are looking forward to playing San Diego State in Phoenix this season as part of the Hall of Fame Series," Arizona head coach
Tommy Lloyd said. "It is another opportunity for us to play against a great program in a tremendous atmosphere that our program and fans enjoy. Reaching our fans in Phoenix is a priority for us and games like this provide a great avenue to do that."
Arizona leads the all-time series against SDSU, 25-7, and has won the last five meetings. The most recent game took place on Nov. 22, 2022, when the Wildcats posted a 87-70 win over the Aztecs as part of the Maui Invitational.
