OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Arizona Softball pitcher and first baseman
Devyn Netz has earned the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, announced by the NFCA on Wednesday. Earlier today, Netz was named a second-team NFCA All-American for the first time in her career.

The Big 12 Player of the Year and Big 12 All-Defensive team member earned the award as a pitcher, recording a perfect fielding percentage in the circle during the regular season. Netz did not commit an error in 29 chances, made 25 assists, and had four putouts in 31 appearances in the circle. She split her time between pitcher and first base and ended the regular season with a 1.000 fielding percentage in 209 chances with 178 putouts and 31 assists. Â

Netz becomes Arizona Softball's third straight Gold Glove winner following
Dakota Kennedy (2024) and
Allie Skaggs (2023) who won the prestigious award in the last two seasons. The trio join Chelsea Goodacre, who won the award as a professional player in 2017, as Arizona's Rawlings Gold Glove winners. Arizona's three collegiate Gold Glove winners is tied with Florida for the most individuals to win the award since it began in 2022.
