TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona linebacker
Taye Brown was named to the preseason Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List, as announced today by the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation.

The Watch List is composed of the top 42 defensive players in college football based on their IMPACT® on and off the field, as selected by the Lott IMPACT Trophy Board of Directors, for consideration ahead of the annual award presentation of the Lott Trophy each December.
Brown started 11 of 12 games played during the 2024 season, making 70 total tackles, including four tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks, with two pass deflections, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

The junior from Chandler led all Arizona linebackers in tackles and finished 24th in the Big 12 in that category. He made his first-career sack at Kansas State on Sept. 13, 2024. His 30 solo tackles, 40 assists, 70 total tackles, four tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks were all career highs.
