Adams spent three years at Iowa where she maintained a 2.26 career ERA with 45 victories and 245 strikeouts over 518.0 innings pitched. In 2025, she went 25-6 with a 2.18 ERA and 130 strikeouts to lead the Hawkeyes' staff. Adams had her best season in 2025, ranking second in the Big Ten with 20 complete games and 198.2 innings pitched and third with a 2.18 ERA, 30 starts, and 25 victories. She also ranked fourth in the conference with five solo shutouts, ninth with two saves, and 11th with 130 strikeouts. Her 25 victories ranked eighth in the nation in 2025.

During her career at Iowa, Adams recorded sub-2.60 ERAs in every season and pitched 10 or more complete games each season. She led the Hawkeyes each season in ERA (2.02 in 2023, 2.59 in 2024, 2.18 in 2025). In 2024, Adams threw her first career no-hitter in a complete game against Michigan State.

The senior pitcher earned NFCA All-Midwest second team and second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2025. Adams also picked up Big Ten All-Freshman team accolades in 2023.

Adams will join Arizona's signing class that includes incoming freshmen Molli Daley, Rylie Holder, Kezi Lucas, and Sina Talataina in the fall.
