TUCSON, Ariz. — Eight standout Arizona Football players have been honored with CSC Academic All-District selections, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Offensive linemen Chubba Maae, Tristan Bounds, Ty Buchanan, and Ka'ena Decambra, along with linebacker Max Harris, running back Ismail Mahdi, defensive back Michael Dansby, and defensive lineman Leroy Palu were all honored.

The All-District team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their performances on the field and in the classroom. This marks the first All-District selection for all eight players.

Mahdi, a senior, was additionally selected as an Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. All-America teams will be announced on Jan. 27.
