Bradley, Peat Named to Wooden Award Midseason Watch List

TUCSON, Ariz. - On Wednesday (Jan. 7), the Los Angeles Athletic Club's John R. Wooden Award, presented by Principal, announced the 2025-26 Midseason Top 25 Watch List as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of the award.

Included on the list are Arizona senior Jaden Bradley and freshman Koa Peat, who have helped the Wildcats hold down the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press poll the last five weeks and are one of six teams in the county that are still undefeated (15-0).

The players on the list are considered strong candidates for the 2026 John R. Wooden Award® Men's Player of the Year. Players not selected for the list remain eligible for inclusion on the Wooden Award® midseason, late-season list, and the National Ballot. The National Ballot will feature 15 top players who have demonstrated to their universities that they meet or exceed the Wooden Award® qualifications.

Celebrating its 50th year, the Wooden Award will feature special programming throughout the season with first winner and ambassador Marques Johnson, culminating in the 2026 John R. Wooden Award presented by Principal. Winners and All Americans will be honored at the Los Angeles Athletic Club on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Bradley is averaging 13.4 points, 4.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 52.1% from the floor and 54.2% from the 3-point line this season. He opened the season with a 27-point outing against Florida and added 21 points in the win at UConn before scoring 13 points and dishing out seven assists against Alabama.

Peat has been equally outstanding this season, averaging 14.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and shooting 56.3% overall from the floor. He burst on to the college basketball scene with a 30-point, seven rebounds, three steal effort against Florida in the season opener. He has gone on to register three double-doubles, including 15 points and 10 rebounds against Kansas State.

Arizona will continue Big 12 play on Saturday when it travels to TCU (2:00 p.m. MST; ESPN).
