Arizona has been selected for the NCAA Tournament all five years under head coach
Tommy Lloyd and it is the second time the Wildcats have been chosen as a 1-seed under his tenure.
This will be the third time Arizona has played in the NCAA Tournament in San Diego and coincidentally, Arizona has been a 1-seed each time. The last time was during Lloyd's first season in 2022 where top-seeded Arizona defeated Wright State in the First Round before taking down 9-seed TCU in an overtime thriller.
Before that, the 2013-14 Arizona Wildcats cruised past Weber State and Gonzaga in the first and second rounds.
