Bradley, Burries Earn All-American Honors

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona senior point guard Jaden Bradley has continued his award-winning season with the Wildcats, garnering multiple All-American accolades in recent days alongside freshman Brayden Burries.
 
Bradley was named a Third Team All-American by The Sporting News, National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) and was honorable mention all-American from the Associated Press.
 
Burries breakout season in Tucson earned him honorable mention accolades from USBWA and Associated Press.
 
It is the 47th and 48th time in program history that Arizona has had an All-American and the fourth and fifth players under head coach Tommy Lloyd to be recognized among the best in the country.
 
The last time Arizona had two All-Americans in the same season was 2017-18, when Allonzo Trier and Deandre Ayton were both recognized.
 
Bradley was named Big 12 Conference Player of the Year and Most Outstanding Player of the Big 12 Tournament after leading Arizona to the title in both. He is averaging 13.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and has dished out a career-high 154 assists this season. He was also on the Big 12 All-Defensive Team and came away with 52 steals this year.

Bradley is also one of five finalists for the Bob Cousy Award, given each year to the top point guard in the country.
 
Burries leads the team with 13 games scoring 20 or more points and is the top scorer for the Wildcats this season at 15.9 points per game. He scored 21 points in the Big 12 Tournament championship game and erupted for 31 points in the regular season finale at Colorado. He was named to the All-Big 12 First Team and Big 12 All-Freshman team.

Burries is one of five finalists for the Jerry West Award, given out to the top shooting guard in the country.
 
Arizona earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will take on No. 16 seed Long Island this Friday in San Diego. Tip-off is slated for 10:35 a.m. MST on TNT.
