BATON ROUGE, La. – No. 11 Arizona won the final game of the series, 4-2, over No. 18 LSU to improve to 30-11 on the season. The Wildcats turned three double plays in the game to set the single season program record with 34 double plays.

The Cats scored four runs on four hits and
Regan Shockey went 2-for-4 at the plate.
Emma Kavanagh led the offense with two RBI.

After two-and-a-half scoreless innings, LSU took a 2-0 lead over the Cats. The first run came across on an RBI single and the second came home on an RBI hit by pitch.

Arizona made it a one-run game in the top of the fourth on a solo home run from
Sydney Stewart – her 15th home run of the season.

The Wildcats took a 4-2 lead in the top of the sixth.
Tele Jennings hit an RBI groundout to bring home Shockey from third base to tie the game at 2-2. Kavanagh hit a two-run double to give Arizona the lead.

Jalen Adams earned the win to improve to 17-6 after tossing 4.2 innings in relief and not allowing LSU to score on four hits.
Jenae Berry started the game and went 2.1 innings, allowing two runs on four hits. Â
