Arizona Signs Transfer Forward Gerda Raulušaityte

TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Women's Basketball has signed transfer forward Gerda Raulušaityte, head coach Becky Burke announced today. Raulušaityte joins the Wildcats after competing at USC and internationally with Lithuania's National Team.

A versatile 6-foot-3 forward from Varena, Lithuania, Raulušaityte brings size, skill and international experience to Tucson as she enters her senior season.

"Gerda is an extremely versatile post player with great length and a tremendous skill set," said Burke. "She's a very high IQ player on both ends of the ball and we will be able to use her in many ways. As one of the top European players when she came to the United States, I'm looking forward to her showing us that side of her on the court here at Arizona."

During the 2025-26 season at USC, Raulušaityte appeared in 31 games with 10 starts while averaging 2.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. She recorded a career-high nine rebounds in her USC debut against New Mexico State and posted personal bests of eight points and eight rebounds in a win over Washington. She also grabbed four rebounds in the NCAA Second Round against South Carolina.

Before arriving at USC, Raulušaityte starred at LCC International University, where she was named the 2024-25 Lithuanian Women's Basketball League MVP after averaging 15.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game during the Women's LKL Division A season.

On the international stage, Raulušaityte has been a standout for Lithuania. She is a member of the Lithuanian National Team and competed at the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket. She also earned silver at the 2019 FIBA U16 European Championship, won gold at the 2022 FIBA U18 European Championship, and competed at the 2024 FIBA U20 European Championship and 2023 FIBA U19 World Cup.

A 2023 graduate of Vilnius Ozas Gymnasium, Raulušaityte was named the 2024 Best Lithuanian Player. She recorded prep career highs of 28 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists while also competing for club team Vilniaus Kibirkštis from 2021-23.

"I'm excited to join Arizona's team - it feels like the perfect fit for me. I believe in what we're building, and I can't wait to do big things together this season," said Raulušaityte.
