Biography



SENIOR (2021-22):
Started all 29 games on the season while averaging 25.4 minutes per game… Eclipsed her assist (60) and steal (44) totals from her previous season as a Wildcat… Scored in double figures in eight games, including season-high 15 points in win at Oregon State…  Made three shots from beyond in the arc in two games… Season-high four steals in win over North Dakota State…  Matched her career high in assists with eight at USC… Scored the team’s last five points in overtime win over No. 6 Louisville.

JUNIOR (2020-21)
Played in all 27 games and started 24 of them … Scored in double-figures four times … Had a season-high 14 points vs. Utah and Arizona State … Averaged 1.1 steals per game … Had at least one block in 17 games … Had a season-high five steals in the National Championship vs. Stanford … Sealed the game with a steal and a basket late vs. UConn in the Final Four.

BEFORE ARIZONA
Yeaney averaged 8.5 points, 4.3 rebounds in 76 games for Indiana while making 69 starts over her career. During her sophomore season in 2018-19, she averaged 9.7 points, 4.1 rebounds 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game while starting 33 of the 34 games. She led the Hoosiers in steals and was typically tasked with guarding the opposing team’s leading scorer. The Portland, Ore. native helped lead Indiana to the NCAA Tournament in 2019 as she scored in double-figures in 20 games, including the two NCAA Tournament games she played in. She scored a season-high 17 points in the first round of the NCAA Tournament vs. Texas and had her lone double-double of the season vs. Northern Illinois (17 points & 11 rebounds).

HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year varsity player at St. Mary’s Academy where she averaged 28.3 points, 13.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 4.6 steals … as a senior lead the Blues to a state tournament appearance, helping her team to the 6A state championships as the second team ever to do it in back-to-back road games … scored 40 of her team’s 59 points in a come-from-behind win over West Linn in the Class 6A playoffs to earn a state tournament berth … a 2017 McDonalds All-American Nominee, two-time First Team Three Rivers League selection and 2017 Three Rivers League Player of the Year … averaged 16.0 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks as a junior, guiding her to All-State honorable mention honors  … also selected as an Adidas Three Stripe All-American in the summer of 2015 playing AAU  … a three-time all-league selection and has started for the Blues since her freshman year and guided them to a Class 6A final as a sophomore in 2014-15 … as a sophomore, she averaged 17.2 points per game and was an OSAA state championship all-tournament first team selection … rated as a three-star recruit by ESPN and No. 80 overall by Prospects Nation.
