2016: Appeared in two games … Was the starting holder for field goal/PAT team in Cactus Kickoff Classic to open season against BYU in Glendale, Ariz. (Sept. 3) … Saw action behind center at UCLA (Oct. 1) with a career-high five pass attempts.

2015: Made Wildcat debut against NAU (9/19) … Did not attempt a pass, but rushed twice for 28 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown.

2014: Redshirted his true freshman year … Recognized in New York in December as one of five National Football Foundation National High School Scholar-Athlete honorees.

High School: Threw for 3,242 yards with a 62 percent completion percentage and 25 touchdowns in 2013 for Basha High School … Rushed for 365 yards and five scores … All-conference, all-district, all-state and all-academic selection … Division, 1 Section 1 and Chandler USD Offensive Player of the Year … Holds school records for touchdown passes in a game and season, passing yards in a season and career and passes completed in a season and career … President of the National Honor Society … NFF Scholar-Athlete of the Year and national finalist … U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete.
