2019 Outdoor: Competed in six events … Threw a PR mark of 14.19m (46-6.75) in the shot put to place eighth at the Jim Click Shootout … Threw another PR of 58.45m (191-9) in the hammer throw to take fourth at the Desert Heat Classic.

2019 Indoor: Did not compete.

2018 Outdoor: Competed in six hammer throw contests ... Took eighth at the Jim Click Shootout posting a season's best mark of 54.32m (178-2).

2018 Indoor: Did not compete

2017 Outdoor: Competed in eight hammer throw events, placing in the top-10 in three outings … Recorded his personal best mark of 179-0 (54.55m) at the Duel in the Desert to place fourth … Took 12th at the Pac-12 Championships … Finished 4th at the Willie Williams Classic … Placed 14th at the Triton Invitational … Added an 8th place finish at the TCU Big 5 Classic … Finished in 12th place in the Pac-12 vs. Big 10 invite … Tabbed an 11th place finish at the Jim Click Shootout … Finished in 15th place at the Pac-12 Championships.

2017 Indoor: Did not compete.

2016: Dalton made a solid collegiate debut where he specialized in the hammer throw. Dalton finished in the top-five in three out of the four meets he competed in with his season-best mark coming in the Jim Click Shootout with a toss of 166 ft. - 11 in. (50.87m). He would go on to finish in third-place in the Willie Williams Classic and the ASU Duel in the Desert.

2015: Redshirted during the indoor and outdoor seasons.

High School: A graduate of Monte Vista High School, Dalton was named team captain in 2014 and the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2013 and 2014 … He earned all-conference honors his senior year for his work in the throwing events … He posted marks of 162-0 in the discus and 52-0 in the shot put during his senior year.

Personal: He is the son of Dennis and Kathy Dalton … He has two brothers, Duke and Dylan … His father, Dennis, was an All-American hammer thrower at UC Davis … He has not selected a major yet.
