TUCSON, Ariz.--- In Part five of our 13-part “Getting to Know” series, ArizonaWildcats.com sits down with sophomore forward LaBrittney Jones.
ArizonaWildcats.com: Your high school coach gave you a nickname, what was it and what was its significance?
Jones: “My nickname was Batman because I was seen as the team hero. I was the main leader on my high school team and came through when my team needed me.”
ArizonaWildcats.com: What is a future career you’d like to pursue?
Jones: I’d like to be an accountant when I get out of college.
ArizonaWildcats.com: What is an ideal vacation you hope to take at one point in your life?
Jones: I would like to go to Paris.
ArizonaWildcats.com: Your aunt has been a very influential person in your basketball career, how has she helped you get to where you are today?
Jones: She has helped me a lot. She talks to me about basketball all the time. She calls me after my games and she just gives me motivation. She tells me different things I need to do to become a better basketball player and human being
