Pitched 15 2/3 innings as a freshman over 14 appearances…Made two starts for the Wildcats, including a Pac-12 one against Oregon State (5/8)…Posted a 1-0 record, striking out 14 batters…Held batters to a .228 opposing batting average…Pitched 2 1/3 innings in his start against Oregon State, not allowing a hit…Pitched a season-high four innings against St. Mary’s (3/6) and earned the win…Tossed a perfect inning against Abilene Christian (5/24) in his final appearance of the season.

Flynn played his high school ball for coach Shawn Gilbert at Servite High School in Anaheim, Calif. … He also played two years of football at Servite High School … Received Principal’s High Honors, meaning he maintained a 3.8 GPA.
