High School: Received all-county and all-league honors in her senior year at Capistrano Valley High school… helped her team advance to the CIF southern playoffs her senior year…posted 6.8 kills, 11 aces and 74 digs her senior year.

 Club: Played for Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club.

Personal: Born Brooke Kaiolohia Dougherty in Mission Viejo, Calif,.  to Tim and Lisa Dougherty.… Sister Sydney Dougherty played soccer at UCI, and father Tim Dougherty ran track, played football, and participated in crew at Orange Coast College... Is undecided in field of academic study but wants to pursue  a major in the field of science … Enjoys exploring new places and being outdoors in her free time… Chose Arizona because, “It is just the right distance from home, and it felt like home on my official visit.”
