SALT LAKE CITY--- Arizona kept things rolling, as the Wildcats came from behind to earn a 5-2 victory over Utah to notch their seventh consecutive win, Sunday up in Salt Lake City.

"I am so proud of this group," head coach Vicky Maes said. "The girls really had to dig deep for the win. We didn't play well, but our heart fot us through the tough moments. Utah put up a solid fight and got us on our heels quickly. Shayne and Laura evened it out for us and that helped shift the momentum in our favor. Our team keeps getting better with each match. I couldn't be happier with the progress we are making." 

The Utes (3-10, 0-3 Pac-12) struck first, as they claimed the doubles point, earning victories on courts one and three, while Lauren Marker and Inge Hendrikx easily took down Sarah Richter and Jena Cheng 8-1 on court two.

But this one was far from over, as Arizona (11-1, 2-0 Pac-12) dominated in singles play, claiming victories on five of six courts.

No. 113 Lauren Marker (17-3, 12-0 Dual) kept her perfect campaign intact, as she pulled off the upset of the day, rallying to take down No. 53 Tereza Bekerova 7-5, 1-6, 6-1 on court one to notch her third ranked win of the season.

Laura Oldham (14-5, 8-3) also defeated Jena Cheng from the No. 3 position, 6-4, 6-3, while Devin Chypyha (14-5, 12-0 Dual) rallied to grind out a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 win over Luisa Gerstner Da Rosa from the No. 4 spot.

Shayne Austin (12-8, 8-3 Dual) won her fourth straight match, as she easily defeated Alexia Petrovic 6-3, 6-2 on court five. Inge Hendrikx notched a comeback win from the No. 6 spot, as she earned a hard-fought victory over Elena Najera-Salas 1-6, 6-3, 6-0.

Utah's lone singles win on the day came at the No. 2 spot.

The Wildcats will continue their five-match road swing next Thursday at Idaho at 2 pm PST.
