Q: Who is your favorite gymnast?

A: My favorite gymnast is Nastia Liukin.

What is your favorite event and why?

A: My favorite event is bars because it is so different from the other events and the feeling of swinging through air is just exhilarating.

What made U of A stand out when you were being recruited?

A: U of A stood out to me when I was being recruited because it provided the full package. It offered the academic and athletic programs that I wanted and to top it off the girls on the team are absolutely amazing inside and out.

What is fun and special about collegiate gymnastics?

A: Collegiate gymnastics is fun and special because it is more team oriented unlike in club. It makes each performance we do that much more special because we're not just competing for ourselves but for each other.

What club did you used to compete with?

A: Gold Medal Gymnastics in Chandler, AZ

Who is your celebrity crush?

A: Chris Hemsworth

What's your dream job after college?

A: My dream job after college would be working somewhere within the field of biomedical engineering.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you want to go and why?

A: If I could travel anywhere in the world I would want to go to Australia because I have a handful of family friends from there and I really want to see the Great Barrier Reef as well as all the unique wildlife.

If you could be any animal what would you be and why?

A: I'd probably be a monkey because I would love to be an animal where all I do is just swing through trees.

What are your hobbies outside of gymnastics?

A: Outside of gymnastics I enjoy drawing and hiking. I love being outside.

If you weren't doing gymnastics what sport would you want to play?

A: If I wasn't doing gymnastics I would probably run track because I love running.

Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?

A: I would want to have the power to control time because sometimes I feel like there just are not enough hours in the day.
