Tucson, Ariz. - The Arizona women's soccer team won their match against the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico today. The 12 p.m. game resulted in a 3-0 victory for the Wildcats. 

Arizona notched two early goals, both of them coming within the first 12 minutes of the match. The team poured in another goal shortly after that. 

The University of New Mexico used the match to get their whole team some playing time, so the coaches were making consistent substitions. The Wildcats played their usual game, and were able to capitalize multiple times on some good opportunties, even as they gave their newest team members some experience on the pitch. 

New Mexico reported a strong showing for a spring game, with almost 100 fans lined up along the side of the field to watch the match. This is unusual for a spring season match.

The Wildcats play again on April 9th vs. Grand Canyon University in Tucson, Arizona. The match will be held at Mulcahy Stadium.
