FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Men's swimming and diving closed out day one of the Pac-12 Championships tied for third place with a total score of 62. California leads (80) followed by Stanford (66) and USC/Arizona (62).
The A team of
Chatham Dobbs,
Blair Bish,
Renny Richmond and
J.P. Beach took second in the 200 medley relay with a season-best time of 1:22.34. It was good for an NCAA 'A' cut.
In the 800 free relay,
Jorge Iga,
Riccardo Maestri,
Nick Thorne and
Thane Maudslien finished fifth with a season-best of 6:19.21. It gave the Cats their first 'A' cut in the event this season.
