Arizona in First after Round One at the Mountain View Collegiate

The University of Arizona women's golf team completed the first round of play at the Mountain View Collegiate on Friday in Tucson, Ariz. The Wildcats are in first place after shooting 10-under-par as a team. Senior Wanasa Zhou leads the individual competition after posting a seven-under-par round of 65.
Junior Krystal Quihuis is tied for third after carding a three-under-par round of 69. Junior Natalia Forero shot a round of even par 72 on the day and is currently tied for 14th place. Sophomore Haley Moore finished the first round at even par and is also tied for 14th . Sophomore Gigi Stoll finished the day shooting three-over-par.
Freshman Sandra Nordaas, competing as an individual is tied for eighth after posting a one-under-par round of 71. Senior Jessica Vasilic was one-under on the day, competing as an individual as well. Sophomore Danielle Lee finished the first round shooting three-over-par.
The Wildcats will begin second round play tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. MST.
