TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona (10-6) welcomes two ranked teams to Tucson this weekend. The Wildcats will take on No. 41 Denver on Friday, Mar. 31 and No. 38 Oregon on Saturday, Apr. 1, with both matches beginning at noon MST.
"Both Denver and Oregon have had a lot of success this season," said head coach
Vicky Maes. "We will have to play very focused and consistent throughout these matches. Our team has been competing well, so I know we will do everything in our power to get the wins."

Last weekend, Arizona made up a match against Rice that had been rained out earlier this season. Despite being down their No. 2 and 3 players due to injury, the Cats did not back down against a team that has been ranked as high as No. 23 this season. After losing the doubles point, Arizona came back to score four singles victories and earn a 4-3 victory over the Owls. No. 29
Lauren Marker and No. 119
Paris Corley each picked up wins over ranked opponents, while
Camila Wesbrooks continued her strong start to the year.
Sophia Thomas clinched the win, as she fought for a grueling victory at No. 6, her first of the dual match season.
The Opposition
Denver (8-6) is coming off of a weekend in which they defeated No. 39 Dartmouth 4-3, but fell to Long Beach State 5-2. Oregon (10-6) defeated Fresno State 4-1 earlier this week. The two teams matched up on Mar. 4 in Boise, with the Pioneers defeating the Ducks 4-2.
Admission to each match is free of charge. LaNelle Robson Tennis Center is located just east of Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium on 2nd street and Campbell Ave.
