TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona (11-9, 2-5 Pac-12) will play its final home matches of 2017 at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center this weekend. The Cats are set to host No. 22 UCLA (12-5, 6-1 Pac-12) on Friday, Apr. 14 at 1:30 p.m. MST and No. 39 USC (8-8, 3-4 Pac-12) on Saturday, Apr. 15 at noon MST.
Â
"The weekend will be bittersweet," said head coach
Vicky Maes. "We are excited to play two top teams at home, yet we are sad to say goodbye to Lauren and Sam on Senior Day. This will be emotional for all of us, so we want to make sure we steer that emotion to our play as well. We need to go out and fight hard and do what we can to put points on the board."

Previously
Last weekend, the Cats made their last trip out of state for the Pac-12 season, as they ventured up to the Pacific Northwest. They took on Washington, falling 7-0. However, they bounced back against Washington State, clinching a tightly-contested 4-3 victory.
Lauren Marker and
Paris Corley notched another doubles victory.
Samantha Czarniak returned to action, as she and
Marie Van Aelst clinched the doubles point for the Cats. In singles, No. 31 Marker,
Camila Wesbrooks, and
Sophia Thomas all recorded victories, with Thomas winning the deciding match on court No. 6.

The Opposition
UCLA hosted Colorado and Utah last weekend, defeating each by a score of 4-0. USC hosted the same schools, also sweeping both, though they played all the way through to 7-0. Earlier this year, the Bruins and Trojans faced off, with the Bruins taking a 4-3 victory.
Â
Admission to each match is free of charge. LaNelle Robson Tennis Center is located just east of Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium on 2nd street and Campbell Ave. This is your last opportunity to see the Wildcats at home this season, and also the last chance to see our seniors,
Lauren Marker and
Samantha Czarniak, represent the block A in Tucson.
